REVIEWS
London Theatre Reviews
The cleverly designed revolving set designed by Emily Bestow and built by SAS works makes ingenious use of the small stage, transforming the space with ease and keeping the action dynamic and visually engaging. Colourful, imaginative costumes also designed by Emily Bestow add to the spectacle.
The Spy in the Stalls
Set and costume design by Emily Bestow is a glitter laden gift with impressively detailed hand-painted sets. Costumes embrace DIY panto charm, with Hook’s enormous hat stealing the show.
The Stage
Designer Emily Bestow lays on special effects, quirky costumes – Hook’s hat is a triumph – and resourceful sets.
The Family Stage
Talking of design, this is an element of the panto that Greenwich always does well and this year is no exception. As usual, Emily Bestow’s versatile revolving set is stuffed with surprises and plenty of sparkles.
